• Personal Data: Name, email address, and demographic information that you voluntarily give to us when registering for the app. This account creation is optional, allowing users to experience features as a guest, but serves to provide a personalized premium experience for registered users.
• Audio & Microphone Data: As an English speaking practice app, we require Microphone permission to capture your voice inputs. This audio data is processed strictly to provide real-time pronunciation feedback.
• Usage Data: Information about your activity within the app, such as lessons completed, scores, and features accessed.

2. Third-Party Processing & Voice Data (Wit.ai API)

To convert your speech into text and provide feedback, the Application transmits audio data to a third-party speech-to-text platform (Wit.ai).

• This audio transmission is temporary and required solely for the purpose of translation and feedback functionality.
• Once the audio is processed by the third-party platform, its subsequent usage, governance, and retention are subject to the respective third-party's privacy policies. Lipixa does not permanently store, retain, or monitor your voice recordings on its own servers.

3. How We Use Your Information & Who Can See It

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we use it to:

• Create, manage, and secure your personal account.
• Provide real-time feedback on your spoken English.
• Monitor and analyze anonymous usage trends to improve app functionality.

Data Access: Your personal data (like email) is strictly used for account management and authentication via Firebase. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to anyone. Access to this data is restricted solely to automated cloud systems required to run the app, and no unauthorized third parties can view your personal details.

Account Deletion Request

If you wish to delete your Lipixa account and all associated data, you can do so directly within the app's profile section. Alternatively, if you no longer have the app installed, you can send an email request to us at lipixa@pycircle.com with your registered email ID, and we will delete your account within 48 hours.
